As we reflect on a challenging year here in Brisbane and think about how many of you have joined our beloved little community in our beautiful new salon space, we are excited to see what 2021 holds. Our award-winning hairdressers thought it might be fun to have a think about a few hair resolutions to consider to keep you looking and feeling amazing. I will give myself the time I deserve
The best thing you can do for the health of your hair is to pop into the salon regularly and have a trim. It’s the easiest way for us to check the condition of your hair, pop in a treatment and just generally keep an eye on growth and how happy you are with your current style, so if you keep finding excuses of why you can’t fit in a salon visit, it’s time to give yourself some downtime.
I will keep life colourful
As colour experts we have created many more than we could ever count, and we know that it needs some upkeep. There are lots of things you can do to help prolong your Rokstar colour. First up, rest assured that we use only the best quality colours from L’Oreal Professionnel in the salon to give your colour the best head start, then we also recommend amazing products to help prolong it as long as possible as washing hair can strip colour incredibly quickly.
I will take care
In 2021, it’s time to take some time out for you. After the craziness that is the summer season, your hair can cop quite the beating thanks to all that styling and product build up. Not to mention the time spent in the sun, surf and sand outside of lockdowns! Saltwater is very drying, especially on coloured hair, so it’s important to try to nourish as much as possible. Incorporate a luxurious mask or treatment into your weekly regime and watch as your hair is transformed for the better.
I will be true to myself
Well this one isn’t exclusively about hair, but it can be! We love to create unique looks for all our clients. From creating the coolest street style inspired styles to tailoring something a little out of the ordinary, or even just giving a simple refresh, we love working with you all.
